To visualise data from our M2M Gateway, you can use one of the following methods:
  • By means of our APIs (web services, SOAP or addUPI*); please contact us directly for further details.
  • Using the free Instruments Java application (see below).
  • Using your cell phone via WAP. To access the public demo account data via WAP just go to https://www.metrilog.net/wap. If you have an account on the Gateway, you can acces your data by appending your login information to the bookmark, eg: https://www.metrilog.net/wap?u=user&p=password where "user" and "password" must be replaced with your account data. If your phone supports secure connections, you may use the secure link https://www.metrilog.net/wap?u=user&p=password.

The software is offered for free, on an "as-is" basis. Please read the System Requirements below, as well as the enclosed readme file before launching the application. There is no installation process required, just download, unzip and double-click to launch.

Download here the Instruments application (version 2.5 rel. 23 March 2009).

After unzipping the package, move the resulting directory in a convenient place on your hard disk, open it and double click the file "instruments.jar". A readme file is also included. As a starting point use the provided configuration file: select the File-> Open menu, then select the demo.tp file. The rest... we let you discover by yourself.

System Requirements

The application has been tested on Windows 2000, XP and Vista, on MacOS X 10.4 or higher, and on Ubuntu Linux 8.04 or higher. It might also run on other platforms but it has not been tested by Metrilog.

Instruments is a Java application, therefore you need Sun's Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.5 or higher. If you don't have it already installed on your PC, then download it from Sun's Java web site by clicking on the image below.

To install follow the instructions provided with the package and/or on the Sun Microsystems's web site.
